Track every kg of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium that goes on each area of your course. Pinly builds a Growth Potential plan for what your turf actually needs each month, then shows the programme against the plan on one screen - built for championship links and audit-ready for R&A Sustainable Agronomy Service, STRI, and GEO OnCourse certification.
Pinly pulls five years of your course's daily temperature history from a scientific reanalysis dataset - once a year, no ongoing dependency. From that history it builds the Growth Potential curve for each area, using the optimum-temperature range of your actual species blend (fescue is not bent is not Poa). Your annual N target is then allocated month-by-month against the GP curve. Peak growth months receive the largest share. Dormant months get effectively zero. A configurable monthly cap prevents single months from running hot.
Open the Programme tab and the four numbers a committee meeting or an advisor will ask for in the first five minutes are already there: annual plan, YTD applied, current period P and K, and rolling 12-month trajectory. Beneath them, a supply-vs-demand ribbon shows every month's applied volume against the GP-scaled plan - so a season that ran heavy in April or light in September is visible before it closes, not at year-end.
Per-area inputs vary, even on a tightly managed course. Pinly's outlier chart plots YTD kg/ha for every individual green, tee, or fairway against the type's mean and a ±1σ band - flagging anything outside it. STRI agronomists draw exactly this chart by hand from spreadsheets at season-end. Pinly generates it nightly. When an advisor asks why green 6 is running 20% above the rest, you already know.
Every application is computed to per-element kg/ha across N, P, K, P₂O₅, K₂O, Ca, Mg, S, Fe and Mn - automatically, the moment your crew completes the task. Liquids carry specific gravity per product so litres convert correctly to kilograms. Tank mixes roll up across line items. The dashboard's oxide ⇄ elemental toggle switches every panel at once - so you speak bag-label vocabulary to your supplier and elemental vocabulary to your soil-science advisor, without re-keying anything. ICL's worked example from their UK literature - 60 L/ha × 1.18 SG × 0.12 = 8.5 kg N/ha - is reproduced exactly as a regression-test fixture.
Every Programme record - annual targets, monthly GP allocations, per-event applications, per-area outliers, rolling 12-month totals - is exportable for R&A Sustainable Agronomy Service visits, STRI advisor reports, and GEO Foundation OnCourse certification submissions. Targets carry a last-reviewed timestamp, so the programme reads as actively governed rather than inherited.
